Growing up as a competitive dancer, Jennifer was exposed to orthopedic injuries early on. After positive personal experience as a patient, she knew her career path would lead to physical therapy. Jennifer received her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. She then moved on to the University of Delaware, known for its concentration in orthopedics, and earned a Masters degree in Physical Therapy.
Jennifer's professional career started at Washington Hospital Center where she focused on orthopedic and trauma patients. She continues to work with the inpatient orthopedic and trauma populations at Inova Fairfax Hospital on the weekends, but decided to join Commonwealth Orthopaedics in 2002 to work in outpatient orthopedic recovery. Her primary interests range from the athletic population to the joint replacement and spinal involvement populations. Jennifer has centered her continuing education around manual therapy and she commits herself to remaining on top of new research in the field of physical therapy.
